The gym routine!

Hey guys,

Like I promised, I will now disclose my trusty gym routine that I've relied on since i started the whole hobby. Enjoy!

Day one: Chest, triceps
  • Bench press, 3 or 4 sets
  • Inclined bench press, 3 sets
  • Lateral raise w/ dumbbells 3 sets
  • Skullcrusher, 3 sets
Day Two: Back, biceps
  • Seated row, 3 or 4 sets 
  • Chin-ups, 3 sets
  • Back extension w/ weights, 3 sets
  • Bicep curl w/ barbell, 3 sets
Day three: Legs
  • Squat w/barbell, 4 sets 
  • Deadlift, 3 or 4 sets
  • The calves on a machine of your choice, 3 sets
  • Also a very good idea to stretch and cool down at this point
The sets consists of around 8 repetitions each, and the idea is to add weight, not repetitions. If you don't know what some of the terminologi means, check out http://www.exrx.net/ . That site has all the exercises with illustrated instructions. This is a somewhat common routine that I would recommend to new and experienced fitness-enthusiasts alike.

  1. Do you have any tips for working out without a lot of equipment? I got 2 dumbelss and running shous, thats it :P
